The clinic sign can be easily seen as you travel down Cobb Parkway. At night the sign is illuminated to help you find the clinic.

Welcome to Cobb Emergency Veterinary Clinic. All of the staff members try to make your experience here enjoyable.

We have pull up access to allow for admission of animals that are unable to walk. Notify the customer service representative of your arrival and a triage technician can bring a gurney to help transport your pet to the treatment area.

Our waiting room has comfortable chairs, magazines and a television. A soda machine is available and all proceeds go into the stray fund to help with medical expenses of injured or abandoned animals.

This is the reception area. Here, the customer service representatives make everyone comfortable while the necessary arrangements are being made with the veterinarians. Our customer service representatives play an essential role in the admission and discharge of our patients. At discharge they will read over the instructions from the doctors and provide prescription medications, paperwork and radiographs for you to take to your primary veterinarian.

Here's one of the well lit exam rooms used by the emergency service. We have eight exam rooms. Our exam rooms are sanitized between patients and have chairs provided to make you more comfortable during your consultation with the doctor.

If your pet needs to be hospitalized overnight or during the weekend, we will be happy to show you the accommodations. Our doctors station allows animals in the treatment area to be visually monitored at all times. Every hospitalized patient is frequently checked on by our Technicians and Doctors.

Our oxygen cage can be adjusted for percent oxygen, humidity and temperature. This equipment is very important for animals with cardiovascular or respiratory disease.

We perform many diagnostic procedures in our well-equipped laboratory. This sophisticated equipment is used to aid in diagnosis of a variety of medical problems.

Our radiograph equipment is available 24 hours a day to provide diagnostic imaging for patients.

This is our surgery suite. Among the important equipment in this suite are the gas anesthetic machine, surgery lights, electrocautery, adjustable surgery table, heating support, light box to view radiographs, ventilator, infusion pump, ECG and pulse oximetry machines. A stat button is on the wall in case the doctor and surgical technician require additional assistance during a procedure.

We have cages of various sizes to allow for comfort of the patients. Fluid pumps, oxygen outlets and comfortable bedding are our standard of care.

For larger dogs we have multiple runs that can be easily sanitized.

We want your pets to leave healthier than when they arrived. That's why we have special facilities available for animals that might be contagious. The isolation ward has its own ventilation system and is completely separate from the other animals. The glass window allows for continued observation by the doctor. We adhere to strict sterilization protocols when entering and exiting the isolation ward to reduce the chance of spread of disease.

We have incubators used for wildlife, exotic animals and infant companion animals. Oxygen and temperature regulation can be provided.

We routinely provide transfusion therapy to our critical patients.
